Single-pipe leak test

You can find leaking heat exchanger tubes quickly and easily:

1. Connect the guns to the air supply,
2. Insert the gun (active) into one end of the pipe,
3. Insert the gun (inactive) into the other end of the pipe and pressurise it using the connected compressed air supply.

The pressure expands the gaskets on both closures and brings the tubes up to test pressure. Once the pressure in the tube under test has stabilised, cut off the air supply. The built-in pressure gauge detects any loss of pressure, and even the smallest leaks in the tubes are identified.

This testing equipment allows you to pneumatically test three to five tubes per minute, with minimal testing effort and enhanced operational reliability. It is supplied complete with seal holders, suitable for tube diameters ranging from 7.2 mm to 53.0 mm (other sizes available on request).
